Well, for the past month or so, maybe a little longer we've been doing a series of messages on the judgment. This morning we're going to begin taking a look at the next couple of weeks on the many wonders of the world, they're not man's and wonders, they're gods, wonders, things that mankind generally overlooks, but there are so many many things that we already took a look at one thing, I believe, what a salt, if you remember a couple of weeks ago we took a look salt. One of the many wonders of the world, such a small thing that we take for granted, but it's really a miraculous thing. You know salt is made up of sodium and chlorine, chloride. And if you put sodium by itself and water, it bubbles and begins to burn. But yet you take sodium and chlorine, mix it together, make salt, put it in water, it doesn't burn. We use it for our food, we use it for disinfectant and so many things. If God wasn't in control of all of that, it wouldn't work. Nothing would work if God wasn't in control. We're going to take a look at another wonder of the world today, one of the first, I believe in foremost, wonders of the world, and of course you will understand that, but turn if you will, Acts chapter 17. And we'll begin there this morning in Acts chapter 17. One of the great wonders of the world that we just take for granted, our scientists don't even though everything there is to know about this little wonder and if it wasn't for this wonder this mighty wonderful thing that God created there would absolutely be no life on this earth. Acts chapter 17 verse 22 and we'll go we're going to read all these verses here so we'll pick up again next week if we run out of time. Verse 22 then Paul stood in the midst of Mars Hill and said, you men of Athens, I perceive that on all things you are superstitious. You should read religious, very religious. Like most people, they were religious, but they were religiously lost. They didn't believe in God. They believed in a God of some kind or another. How come every time on Sunday morning my nose starts running? I think Satan is very busy. For as I pass by and behold your devotions. I found an offer with this inscription to the unknown God, whom therefore ye ignorant worship him declare I unto you. They had an inscription on Mark's hill that said literally to the unknown God. You ever hear somebody say, I believe in God, or me and God we got wrong thing going or how about the expression all the man upstairs. I don't have any time there somebody say you know I'm going to do this. Will you go to the man upstairs for me? What do you got somebody living in your house upstairs? What is this? The unknown God, God is knowable. He's very knowable and the world that doesn't know him is really unimaginable. How the world cannot know God when you look at all the things in the world. All the wonders in the world that God created." That's read on it, if you will. God who made the world and all things in it, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with end. You see, the problem in Athens, which was in Greece, as it is the rest of the world, is philosophy. They philosophied. And they took a, what would you call a mental view of everything, and they criticized everything, they critiqued everything, they looked everything over, but they couldn't see God. And so they had this description to the unknown God, but they were philosophers. You know, I made philosophers, I have run our world, did you know the Charles Darwin was basically a philosopher, he wrote a book entitled The Origin of Species, by a natural selection, that was the complete title. And he didn't believe in God, but he went to Bible College that where he started. After two years, he quit. That was the extent of his education. And he wrote an entire book on the origin of species. And you know that almost every scientist follows that book, that's their Bible today. The man was an idiot. A fool. He'll illiterate. He wasn't really that brilliant. And the entire world follows him because they do not want to believe in God. Verse 25, neither is worship with men's hands as though he needed anything, seeing he give it to all life and breath and all things. And you're going to see in the next coming weeks what this verse is talking about. God gives us life and breath and all things. And you're going to see in the coming weeks as if it wasn't for God this whole world would just explode. It would just explode in a ball of fire, and we're going to prove that. And you know we have these people like the evolutionists who do not believe in God. That's why they're trying to prove evolution. And then we have the environmentalists like Al Gore, who doesn't believe in God, he's trying to prove that he can control the earth. All these things are because they don't believe in God. They can't see God in nature. they can't see. All the wonders of God is pretty sad. He gives us belief and breath on all things. And then this verse here is the most important verse I wanted to get to here, verse 26, and have made of one blood all nations of men did well on all the face of the earth, and have determined the times before appointed and the bounds of their habitation. God has good man on this earth, given man kind of one blood, doesn't matter what color the skin is, doesn't matter what nationality the person is, doesn't matter where they were born, it doesn't matter if he's riding in a beat up old pickup truck with a loud muffler with a rebel flag flying on it, or if he's riding around in a big fancy automobiles with a chauffeur in the front doesn't matter who he is he's got exactly the same blood doesn't matter how smart he thinks he is he's got exactly the same blood something else I want to show you here if I may and that is the bounds of their habitation mankind does not belong in outer space God did not plan it that way we don't belong there and one of these days mankind is going to see that there's There's nothing in outer space for us to find. There's nothing there that we need. There's no life there, and if there was, they would be abhorting us. I would, if we call it intelligent life, but if it's really intelligent life, they would run from life on this planet. There's nothing much intelligent about humanity on this planet. Verse 27, that they should seek the Lord. he's written all these other verses so that they should seek the Lord. Why should you seek the Lord? Because he gives you life, breath, and all things. He's made man of one blood. He's determined your habitation. You should seek the Lord because of all this that they might feel after him and find him, though he is not far from every one of us. Isn't that amazing? But humanity just will not seek the Lord and God says, I'm not very far from you, but if you look around at nature and see what I've created, you will find me if you look for me and seek me. But just won't do that. And then he says, for in him, we live and move and have our being. I wonder how many people in our world do not realize that every move we make is in Christ. Every move we make you're going to see shortly within the next few weeks. that this statement is absolutely 100% correct. We have our being as certain also of our own poets have said for we are also his offspring. For as much then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like gold or silver or stone, or graven by art and man's device, and the times of this ignorance God linked at or overlooked. Now think about this if you will. Humanity has made a God out of almost everything. They've carved a God out of trees. They made God out of gold, out of silver, made statues, relics, emblems, crosses, things to hang on your neck, things to hang on your ears, things to wrap around your throat, all kinds of things to make some sort of a God and God said he just overlooked all that ignorance so far. God has overlooked all that ignorance. But now it commends with all men everywhere to repent. What does he mean? He means I gave you the cross. You ever drive down a road and see everything on the… Oh, just driving down a road that looks like a cross. Here we do that. I have telephone polls. You can look like a cross. mailboxes look like crosses. There's always the symbol of a cross everywhere, mankind ignores it all. Don't they? Just plain ignore it. But God over looks it because, verse 31, then we'll go on. If you will. Because he had a point of a day in which he will judge the world in righteous notes, notice the word judge. By that man, Jesus Christ, who he hath ordained concerning which he hath given assurance unto all men, and that he hath raised him from the dead. The first thing we're going to look at, the first great miracle, the first great wonder is of course the one word that we looked at earlier in verse 26, blood, the word blood. I've talked about this before, I believe, I'm not sure, I don't remember too much about what I've done in the past, but did you know that the human blood, the human blood is made up of a variety of elements. The human body is made up of tissue, muscle, nerve, fat, bone, all kinds of things. It's made up of lungs, liver, heart. All these things, all these things are made to make up the human body, but everything and the human body relies on one thing, the blood. You then, well, what about air? If it wasn't for the blood, your body would get no air. The blood circulates through its pumps every 23 seconds, the blood goes through the body. Starts in the heart, goes into the lungs, picks up oxygen, circulates through the body, every 23 seconds, comes back to the lungs, and in that length of time gets new oxygen, But in that length of time, it takes all the old oxygen out of the body, all the impurities out of the body through the blood and distributes it and gets rid of the body. It's called the garbage tank. Takes all the good nutrients, all the good air, all in exactly the same blood in the same vein and it never contaminates the blood. It's not amazing. And some of it says we involved. It's impossible. Well, yeah, the human body does, yes. When God said he could, we were going to get to that later, but that's absolutely true. Also, the blood carries not only nutrients and oxygen. There are some things in the blood that we're going to take a look at, and that is for one thing, the red blood cells and the white blood cells. But I want to look at the white blood cells, which there are more red blood cells and the red blood cells is what carries the oxygen. Our other the oxygen cleans to the red blood cells and then the red blood cells distributes all that oxygen and they all put all the other cells and tissue in the body. But the white blood cells are very few until you get some sort of an infection or a cut and then miraculously the white blood cells multiply. Like an army and they multiply in your blood and they head to that cut and they attack that cut. So white blood cells and that's why you get the little cloths and the little bits of press but because that white blood cell is attacking that and stopping your body from that disease from getting into your body and destroying your body. It's a miracle isn't it? Automatically. I don't know where these white blood cells multiply and like a little army, it's sort of like the army reserve. God has them in reserve and they attack that blood supply. And then there's another thing called anti-bodies and antioxidants. Do you ever have most small pox or when we were young we had the monks? You have that. You know what happens when you have these little things in the body? The blood produces an antioxidant so you will never get that disease again. Isn't that amazing? The antioxidant is not there and then of course there are other things that you've get that the antioxidants come into your bloodstream automatically. I don't know where. So whatever you get will not do. Now it doesn't always work that way because I don't know why because God is in control. Some people have leukemia where the white blood count is the white cells are low and they don't fight with you. I don't know why. I'm not God. I have no idea why this happens. I don't understand it, but God is God. He knows what He's doing. But the blood is an amazing and amazing thing. The actual, actually antibodies and antioxidants are manufactured by the blood at a record rate when the blood calls for it. It's amazing. It's an amazing thing. Perniem, if you will, to Genesis chapter 2, chapter 2 in verse 7. I can see already, I'm not going to paint this up today. Genesis chapter 2, verse 7. Kind of an amazing thing here, one of these many verses in the Bible that are. In Genesis chapter 2, verse 7, and the Lord God formed a man of the dust of the ground that is the earth, dust, a far, means clay. And in my other Bible, I've got a list of all the things that are in the clay that are in man's body. And everyone of those things is also in the blood. But the Lord, Lord God, formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. What was it that God breathed into man's nostrils? Was it air? No, it wasn't air. We would think so, wouldn't we? Well, how do we know what God breathes into men's, into men's nonsense? Well, let's go to the Bible and the Bible. Let's go to chapter 9, verse 1, if you will. No, we don't want to go there. I'll say where we want to go. Leviticus chapter 7 and Leviticus chapter 17. Then we will come back here, if you will. Go to Leviticus chapter 7, first of all, and then chapter 17. Chapter 7, verse 26, if you will. Two verses here, let me go to the Bidicus chapter 17. Moreover you shall eat no manner of blood, whether it is a foul or a beast, in any of your dwellings. What so ever soul it is that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people. Now ask yourself why. I don't know about you, but I won't eat from all meat. I won't eat anything that's rare, because it has, when you cut it, it has the blood by the elite like their meat rare because, after all, it's the thing to do. But I won't eat my meat rare because I don't think God likes it. Now over to the lyrics chapter 17 here if you will. Why? Why does God not want us to eat the blood and cleanse the blood and so forth and so forth? Biggest chapter 17, go if you will verse 11, verse 11, this answers the whole question. For the life of the flesh is in the blood. You know what God breathed in the Adam's nostrils when he breathed life into him? The blood began to blow. Why? Because the life of the flesh is in the blood. What is their life in there? Yes, but the blood carries the air. The blood is the life. And verse, let's read on, I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls, for it is the blood that make it an atonement for the soul. Verse 14, if you will, for it blood is the life of all flesh. The blood of it is for the life thereof. Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, you shall eat the blood of no man or a flesh, for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof, whosoever eat at the chub because the point is God's trying to make, I think he made it pretty clear, didn't he? For the life of all flesh is in the blood. We talked briefly this morning about the blood and all the things that are in the blood, the importance of the blood. The blood is life. like you know what happens when your blood stops flowing, yeah, you're dead, you're dead, and you know there's only one way to have the perfect human being. You know how you do that? Get a complete blood transfusion. Drain every drop, there's five quarts of blood in your body, five quarts. Get a blood transfusion, drain every drop, and replace it with perfect blood. of course I don't know where you gonna find it. Well a lot of you drained your blood out and replaced it as it was draining out. No the new blood would be you'd be perfect if it was seamless blood. Yeah you'd live forever if it couldn't happen. You're right it could not happen. The only way you could it could What would happen would be if the Lord Jesus Christ was laying next to you, and you've got a blood transfusion from him, the only problem is he would be drained of his blood. But guess what? It has already happened, yes it has. Jesus Christ has already drained his body of his blood so that you could have eternal life and be seamless some day. It is already taken place. Anyhow, back to Genesis, if you will. Let's go here to what we're going to skip. We're going to look at just a couple of verses. Go to chapter nine, if you will. Genesis chapter nine. I know it can't happen, Daniel, but it sounded good, didn't it? Yeah. Chapter nine, verse one. Noah just got off the boat. There have been times when I was glad to get off of my boat. When the weather was bad, and God blessed Noah, verse 1 in his sons, and said unto them be fruitful and Multiply and replenish or fill the earth. In other words, have children. That's what he means. Be fruitful and Multiply. By the way, did you know that when God created Adam and Eve, he didn't create Adam and Steve? Or he didn't create even Eve and Eve and Eve and he told them to be fruitful and multiply. Have babies get married, leave mom and dad, have children, be fruitful and multiply and replenish your. So if you've had children, you have obeyed God's first commandment. Isn't that amazing? You're already on the right road to pleasing God. That's just the beginning, of course. Be fruitful and multiply and replenish your. So God treated him out of me. He did not say if you don't want them babies, kill them. He didn't say that, did he? You know how many people are going to have to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ someday who have performed abortions, a multitude of abortions, and pay for that? Do you know how many? You know how God judges? The ultimate judge will be the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ according to the Word of God. Amen? It certainly will. All of those who had shed blood will have to answer for the blood of Christ. Back to the Bible, if you will. Verse two, and the fear of you and the dread of you shall be up on every beast of the earth and upon every foul of the air. By the way, it's not the other way around where I suppose to be afraid of the animals. They are afraid of us. That's how it works. The animal rights activists are telling you that you should be afraid of the animals. Remember we said that all of these things we're talking about. All of God's wonders will someday judge sooner or later. Then in the next couple of weeks, we're going to go to the book of Revelation. And I'm going to show you how all of these things that God wrote down will judge mankind during the seven-year regulation. The fear of the animals, going to be the other way around, and the fall of the earth All that move of the form of the earth and upon all the fish of the sea into your hand, are they delivered? Oh, I can eat fish. I can eat bambi. Imagine that, isn't that terrible? No, no, God said, you have a right to eat it, but drain the blood first. Because the life of the flesh is in the butt. You can actually eat little bambi. I may go out and kill man but today and drag that dude home and cut it up and eat it. I don't think so, I'm sorry, did I offend somebody? Maybe I'll just stick the kill with my neighbor's cat and eat that. Huh? What? Am I fending you? Okay. Now there are reasons I do these things is to get your attention. I just don't want you to fall asleep on me. So I say these things and you may get angry with me, but you're awake, aren't you? Yeah. Okay, first read. Every moving thing that liveth shall be meet for you. Even as a green herb, have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, what is the life thereof? The blood thereof shall ye not eat. Where is the life? It's in the blood. Amen. The life of all flesh is in the blood. And surely your blood of your lives will I require at the hand of every beast? Will I require it? And at the hand of every man, at the hand of every man's brother, will I require the life of man? So what's he saying? Listen what he's saying. Who's so sure that the man's blood by man shall his blood be shed back up if he will the verse five? And surely your blood of your lives will I require at the hand of every beast? Did you get that? When we go to the book of revelations, pay attention to what he's saying. And surely your blood of your lives will I require at the hand of every beast will I require? Would you say? No. In other words, if you are a murderer, if you're a killer, if you kill babies and take babies, God said, your blood will be required at the hand of every beast. In other words, the animals are going to turn on you as a judgment. That's what he's saying. Is that what he's saying? I will judge you by the beast. In other words, the beast are subject to you, but if you take man's life innocent blood, then you are going to be subject to the beast. You get that in the future, in the future. Actually, it's prevalent today. If you look around the world today, you see raccoons and so forth are acquiring rabies that are rapid rate. At a very rapid rate, it's almost in some parts of the country. It's dangerous to go outside because a lot places in Florida and they put a stop on killing crocodiles and alligators and some places they're becoming a plague in Florida and some other places parts of Georgia they're becoming a plague because the animal rights act was where you can't make a purse out of poor thing. You can't make alligators shoes. That's a terrible thing to do. I don't want any alligators shoes but I don't think it's a terrible thing to do. I wouldn't mind have an alligator purse. Just kidding. Just kidding. Just kidding. Just trying to keep you awake. Genesis chapter, let's go if you will, to back over here that the benefits chapter 17 and then we're going to take a look at some other things if you will. I think we're running out of time. What was kind of humor, actually. Where did I say to go? Okay. Well, I think I changed my mind. Let's go to Exodus chapter 12. I changed my mind. Exodus chapter 12. And by the time we get through with this we'll have to pick it up again next week because we're going to be out of time. The old preacher just can't remain serious long enough to get through all this. Exodus chapter 1, verse 1, chapter 12, I'm sorry, two, oh boy. Chapter 12, that's what I said the first time, wasn't it? Okay, that's what I meant. And the Lord spoke verse 1 unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, this month shall be unto you the beginning of months, it shall be the first month of the year to you. And it did. It became Israel's first month of the year. e unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, in the fifth day of this month, you shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for a house, and if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next unto his house take it, according to the number of souls, every man, according to his eating, shall make your count for the lamb. Lamb shall lead without blemish a male of the first year, you shall take it out from the sheep or from the goats, and you shall keep it until the fourth-taped day of the same month, and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. And they shall take of the blood and strike it on the two sideposts, and on the upper doorposts of the houses wherein they shall eat it. they shall eat the flesh in that night, rose with fire, unleavened bread, with bitter herbs shall they eat it. Eat not of it raw, nor boiled. Your Bible may have another word there, but the word is actually sauttoned but boiled at all with water, but rose with fire, its head with its legs, and with the fro word, or inward parts thereof. And you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning, and that which remaineth of it until the morning, you shall burn with fire. And thus shall you eat it with your loins girdled, your shoes on your feet, your staff in your hand, and you shall eat it in haste. It is the Lord's Passover. We're going to get to these verses again next week and go over these verses and explain the meaning. But for now, I just want to go to the next couple of verses here in verses 12 and 13. And we'll get back to these other verses when we get the opportunity next week and explain all that. In verse 12, now they're going to take and eat the meat, and they're going to roast it. There's a significance in that. But the blood, the blood that they have already drained out, remember, life is in the blood. For the life of all flesh is in the blood. You know why you're dying, of course, or you're simple, because you have simple blood. Your blood is not perfect. You were born with them. You can't help it. I don't know how many times I've heard somebody say, you can't sin and go to heaven. Well, then in that case, nobody's gone to heaven because you were born with sinful blood. You got it. It's in there. You can eradicate it. As we said, the only way to eradicate it is to get a blood transfusion. That's impossible. The only way you can get a blood transfusion is from Jesus Christ. The only way to get that transfusion is by faith in Him. Put your faith in trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and you receive a blood transfusion. That's the only way. But all life is in the blood. The life is in the blood. You were born with simple blood. It's in there. For I will pass through the Land of Egypt this night and it will smite all the first born in a land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt, I will execute judgment, notice the word judgment. How does he do that? Notice the next verse. Remember we've been talking about judgment now for a couple of months. You've got self-judgment. You've got to judge yourself. God's judgment, judgment of the nations, God's judges nations today, over and over again. God will use a sinner to judge you if you're not serving him. Be careful. Be aware. He used the Pharaoh to judge Abraham. Remember that? Pharaoh was a sinner. He used people to judge Moses. He always he will use the sinful person to judge the Christian. If you're making him look bad, you know why? it'll make you look bad. You've got it coming. Judgment, I am the Lord. Verse 13, and the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where you are. Verse 13, get this if you don't get anything else. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you. You know what But Jesus Christ became your Passover, did He not? The Passover Lamb, He shed His blood on the cross all five courts. And I believe all five courts of the Lord Jesus Christ has preserved somewhere today. I believe it's in heaven as a matter of fact. And I believe there's a place in heaven where that blood is preserved 100% not one drop is wasted. I'm sure that when he hung on that cross that drops of his blood fell to the ground. And I'm sure that when he was beaten in whips, when he was in the place where they judged there, I'm sure that his blood spilt on the pavement there, but I'll bet you the Lord Jesus Christ saved every drop miraculously. In a line, where the life is in his blood, eternal life is in his blood, perfect blood. Now before we close we're out of time already. Let's go back to our 13. The house is where you are and when I see the blood I will pass over you. Jesus Christ is your Passover and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of each of you. You know we're out of time but we're gonna have to cover this next week. But just in closing it is an amazing thing. It is a miracle. It is one of the wonders of the world how God created the blood. You know that when an infant, and I told you this hundreds of times, but I want you to get it again, when an infant is conceived inside the mother's womb by three weeks, the blood vessels begin to form in that little baby. By six weeks, they're 100% visible in that little baby, about that baby inside the mother's womb. The blood vessels have already begun to form. The blood has already begun to form inside that little fetus. And guess what? It's not the mother's blood. Jesus Christ was born having His own perfect blood. It was not man's blood. It was the blood of God, the Father, that flowed in His veins. Not the one between you and I have children. It's always the blood of a man that flows inside of a human fetus. not Jesus Christ. Take a DNA. They'll never find the father because he's in heaven and they reject him. The blood that bloated in the met miraculously, miraculously separate from the mother. That's absolutely right. And you know that Jesus Christ had sinful flesh but uncentful blood. God. The flesh he had was not simple because he was God, but he had human flesh. But because he had unhuman blood, he had the blood of God, he was sinless. Isn't that amazing? What is it that makes you simple? It's your blood. And because you have sinful blood, you are sinful because you desire this, you desire that, you desire sinful things. But the blood of Jesus Christ when God sees His blood on you. He will pass over you. You have eternal life. We're going to pick this up again next week. We're out of time. I'm a few minutes over, but we started late. So I don't know how it works. Should we close early or close late? Well, it's too late. It's late. I don't believe in my brain words. You'll have to forgive me. In closing, have you trusted Christ as your Savior? If you have, you have had a blood transfusion. Isn't that amazing? You blood has been replaced. You still have the same blood, but God looks at you as His blood and it covers all your sins. You would still want to have to die because you have sinful blood in your veins. You have to die, but you'll raise again to eternal life Because of the precious blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I don't believe one drop was ever lost. The precious blood of Christ couldn't be. It couldn't be. If you've never trusted Christ as your Savior do it today, just between you and Hans say, Lord, I believe you died on the cross and pay for my sin with your sinless blood. And the blood transfusion takes place instantly. one of the many miracles of the world, isn't it? It certainly is. Let's have word of parable close. Dear Lord and Heavenly Father, we thank You for the many wonders of the world, one of those being the blood. What an amazing thing. There are so many things in the blood scientists haven't even figured out what it all is yet. 2007, they haven't figured it out. And they still haven't figured out that it all came from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Creator all things. He created the blood. He created life. He breathed life in the Adam and that life was in the blood. It's a bloody world. It's a bloody Bible. It's a bloody book. But it's the blood of Christ that saved us from our sins. and we thank you for it in his name. Amen. Okay, please rise.
