Well occasionally as a Christian you're going to be confronted with a question and the question is, and I've always wondered about it myself, occasionally I wonder about it, but the question is why do terrible things happen, why do bad things happen, why does God allow it? And the answer is we really don't know. I remember when at least three times I've been called to the hospital when good so-called Christians of children were laying their dianne. And in two cases they did die and when you tell them, I don't have any idea, I don't know what to tell them. But I do know that there's an answer why these, why evil take place, why children are being abducted and mutilated and young girls. My daughter has a daughter that's going to be going to college in probably next year. And she said she's going to go to college. Kent State, real close to where they live and drive home. I said, man, I'm glad to hear that. I'm glad she's not going to stay near a college somewhere. Is it a pervert? That's where they reside because that's where the action is. units. That's why they're there. And I was doing a survey and doing a lot of study on it. And almost every college is surrounded by pedophiles that are on record, recorded pedophiles there. They're in the database. And that's where they hang around, where they can, where they can put the anyhow. So a lot of these things, children being abducted and so forth. And why is it going to do that? Well, printing your Bible's eyes at Chapter 45. And I'm going Give the best answer I can give. It's probably not sufficient, but it's the best answer that I can give we'll go to a few places here in Isaiah chapter 45 Okay, let's go if you will let's point out a couple things first of all in verse 12 God said I've made the earth and created man upon it. I even my hands have stretched out the heavens and And all their hosts have our commandant. And then he goes on to say, I've raised him up in righteousness. He's talking about Christ, I believe here, and I will direct all his ways. He'll build my city, and he shall let go my captors, not for price and reward say at the Lord of hosts. And then over in verse 19, I have not spoken in secret in a dark place of the earth. I said not and do the seed of Jacob, seek ye me in vain, O the Lord speak righteousness, I declare things that are right. So God does nothing in secret. And so if we wonder why God allows all these things to happen, you know, you hear the saying, God does things in mysterious ways. Well, I don't believe it. I don't believe God does things secretly. He says, I have nothing in secret. And anyway, so with all that in mind, back up to verse 7, if you will, back up to verse 7. I've heard people use this verse to say, well, you see God is evil, but I want to explain this verse here. I form the light and create darkness. I make peace and create evil. I, the Lord, do all these things. Of course, somebody's going to say, well, the key God is an evil God. He creates evil. The word evil is the word you may have this in your Bible. Some of you may. It's the Hebrew word raw, R-A. and it means the fruit of evil. God doesn't create evil. He creates the fruit of evil. We live in an evil world. Society is evil. God doesn't create the evil, but he creates the fruit of evil. He said, I create darkness. He creates the fruit of darkness. Satan is darkness. Why would he allow that? Why would he do that? Well, go over to the Isaiah chapter 50, 55, if you will. Calamity and sin go together. Evil and sin go together. Since God is not evil, but man is evil. God creates the fruit of evil. If you were driving an automobile and had a bad accident, usually because of the way you were driving or somebody else want to blame God, the first thing we want to do, God wouldn't drive in the car or just recently in New York City, a big tower, a big joke. Crane fell off of the building and killed some people and God didn't put the crane on the building. It's not his responsibility to fast it down and keep it there. When children get stolen by a pervert, God did not create the pervert our society did. So that child was killed or murdered or whatever because the society did not go. is not obligated to protect that child. He's not obligated to protect you and I. He will if we pray about it so forth, he will, if it suits his will and his goal. But he's not obligated to do that. The only problem I have is when a Christian loses a child, I don't have an answer for that. Because God is not going to punish his people. There's another answer for that scenario altogether. I don't have the answer for that one. If you remember Well, Barclots, they lost their son, that was very sad. I couldn't deal with that. I had no answers for them. And because I didn't have an answer and because Carl didn't have an answer and nobody else had an answer, I think, rather just flipped out and turned against everything. I don't know. But God only intervenes in the affairs of men if it suits His purpose. And according to His will and fulfills His prophetic word. That's the only time God has obligated to intervene, or that's the only time He will intervene. Revelation 17, 17, fulfilled His will, the destruction of Babylon. He used the kings of the earth to fulfill His will. Evil in the world is the cause, the result of evil in the world today. And sex perversion, all these things are the result of evil. But Isaiah chapter 55, in verse 6, Seek ye the Lord while He may be the Son of God. found call you upon him while he is near. The world doesn't do that. Society does not do that. They reject him. They won't have anything to do and they don't want to know anything about him. I remember long before I got saved, I was seeking the Lord. That's why I got saved eventually. I was seeking the Lord. I want to know about him. What he was all about when he was real. I didn't even know if he existed, but I was seeking the Lord. 7. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man has thoughts. Now let him return unto the Lord. You remember he's talking about mankind, mankind. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man has thoughts. So we're just red. I create evil. No, I create the fruit of evil. God says, the fruit of evil. Your evil ways is your fruit. And that's mankind today. There's a lot of terrible things going on in the world of the day. It's just the fruit of evil. The Henry turns to the Lord and he will have mercy upon him and to our God for evil abundantly pardoned. As you pardoned today, as you pardoned you and I, yes, he's pardoned our sin, but he is not pardoned humanity and a whole. He's not pardoned you society on a whole. He has not done that because society. I'm talking about the world will be living, not each and every individual. Society as a whole has not returned unto the Lord and he will not have mercy upon mankind in general. He didn't have mercy upon Israel. They're chosen nation. They They filed up, they failed him, he had no mercy on them, and whatever's taking place on Israel the day, they asked for, they deserved it. He's talking about a safe person or if you talk about society as a whole. I'm talking about society as a whole. Not a safe person. He says the unrighteous man and then he says let him return to the form. Yeah. The unrighteous man let the wicked forsake his way. He's really talking about humanity in general. He's talking about humanity in general and each and every individual, specifically. But if you follow the logic here, it's mankind in general. Mankind in general is not trusted Christ. They they reject Him and everything you hear in the schools is alive practically. Even the book you gave me on the lives of my teacher told me, what I think is pretty good. Oh yeah. sort of like Columbus is a hero. No, no, he's not a hero. He was just out there searching for more gold for his king and queen. That's what he was doing. And I got to tell you, this thing with Barack Obama and his preacher, they got a bad attitude, but I got to tell you the truth. I can sort of go along with the black community. I don't there say that to my wife because she gets all over my case, but I kind of agree with the black community. They were treated terrible in this country. They were beaten with a whip if they didn't work. Don't hook me massive. Please don't beat me. And even during the Second World War, they were allowed to fight, but when they got back home, they were told to get to the back of the bus. That's not right? You cannot blame the black people. Now today things are 100% different. They ought to be able to forgive just like everybody else. But because they've been taught this for so many years, it's hard for them to do. Now Barack Obama's preacher is a complete jerk. But on the other hand, he knows what he's doing. He's beating his congregation into a frenzy and that allows him to be the I know what he's up to, but as far as Black communities concerned, I tell you, I kind of sympathize with him. Now, today, if you were Black in this country today, you can be anything you want to be into. You have a right to speak out against yourself and so forth, but up until the, I would say the 60s of the Black people were really treated bad in this country. Mark Luther King was one of the people that helped put his top to all that, but I kind of sympathize with him. They have more rights than we do now. Well, yes, I guess, I guess. But they do, I guess, I don't know. It's not worth worrying about, but I'm just giving you an example of society that tells you that movie on HBO that got John Adams to do in the way they were. I heard about it. I don't have HBO, but I heard about the movie. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's both be pretty accurate. Yeah, well, you know, the things haven't changed. We look at things the way they are today. They're no different than they were. Thousands of years ago, nothing. Yeah, all the evil has always been in the world. Evil has always persecution. Do you remember, do you've heard of Poy Pot? Poy Pot? Yeah. Well, he was a vicious ruler. He would kill. He got so paranoid about his dictatorship that he killed everybody and anybody. I mean, he put people in prison. He didn't know. Nobody knew. He just put them in prison. Evil. Evil is in our society. But anyway, let's go on if you will. How come I don't understand all this? How come I don't understand why evil happens? Very simple, verse 8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, either are your ways, my ways, say it the Lord. So when I don't understand what's going on in the world, I have to realize the way I think is not the way God thinks. And if the child is murdered, and I don't understand why that takes place, my thoughts are not God's thoughts. I probably not have committed to what I want. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways. And my thoughts, then your thoughts. So the rain comes down and the snow from heaven and returns us not to the earth, but water the earth and make it to bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater. What he's saying is, well, if one's social my word be, that go and forth out of my mouth, it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please and it's got prosper in the thing where to. In other words, I'm in charge, God said, I water the earth, you know how it happens, you know how it takes place, you can't understand that, you can't understand the, that it brings forth bud and so forth, but the things that happen that you don't understand, God is trying to say, you can't understand them. And so that's where I leave it and that's, I don't dwell on it, I don't worry about it, because I realize that God is in control. And whatever takes place, he's not blind, he's not deaf, he knows the things that are going on in the world of the day, and if he doesn't put us off to it, I don't mind. And that's the only answer that I can give anyone. I know a lot of people have probably used this for themselves and I've heard it myself many times, but I don't know if it's difficult for teachers to say, God will not give you anything you cannot handle. Is there anything? Yeah, that's biblical. And where is that? I'll show you a minute. Okay. If I can remember where it is, but it is biblical. Yeah, it is biblical. I think that. What's that? I think I'll look it up here in a minute. I think I know where it is. Turn over and look chapter 13. And we'll continue this and then we'll while you're filming over there. Here's some way. Not in second Corinthians, but I'm not sure there. I believe that's where it is anyway. Now we just read it the other day. So that happens when your mind goes. I think it's the first Peter 4, I don't know, maybe it is. I just don't know if the words are really meant to come up with the thing is how it's strange from here in the firing trial, which is to try you into those those strange things. And this is like that. I mean, going through something hard, you know, God knows that it's strange. It's ain't going to happen. This is suffering of increasing my level of experience. Yeah, that's not the one I was thinking of, but not the one I was thinking of. my gracious position for me, my strength is made perfect in your weakness, Charles. No. No. There is a place in James, there's a place in James that comes close. But that's not the worst I was thinking of. The worst I was thinking of, I got it all. Yeah, that's good though. I like to do this because it makes you think, it makes me think. Did it with the one in first two or four, and that goes along with it though? Yes, it does. Yeah, actually, I get it. I get it facing that doctor and it's useless much here, but from the West border, I mean, you know, that you made me tell them to see you do it. Like you saying, you know, don't don't quote saying if Star Wars because you know, Christ offered you to have something for him. You're the good stuff. I can have in the future. Yeah. Well, the worst I'm thinking of is it's in first Prince and Shepard. 10, I have it. Yeah. First Prince and 10, 13. Yeah. What was the question again, Dolly? I have people to say, you know, uh, God will let me do anything that you can not handle. I mean, I do that myself, but I believe that. Yeah. I think that's, uh, not exactly how the verse goes. The verse is in 1 Corinthians 10 13. 1 Corinthians 10 13 is that one you think of? Yeah he is but yeah that's the way that's the way I am Bill that's why I carry my Bible everywhere. A Bible is almost like your hand. You can pick it up and just glance through it if If you don't have your Bible, it's almost unreal. Yeah, it is. Yeah, but, uh, well, let's go to first print at 1013. And now, before we do that, let's look at Luke and then we'll ask him if I was in to you, okay? Then we'll go to look at that. But, no, that's a good, good question. One of my favorite verses here in that day. Which one's that? I don't blame it because a woman can't forget a woman can't. Okay, for blue chapter 13, on the same context, if we were discussing previously, Jesus said, talking about a sin and calamity, there were present at that season some that told him of the Galileans, verse 1, whose blood pilot had mingled with their sacrifices. I don't know if you're familiar with what took place, but the pilot was a pretty mean rascal, and he slew some of the Jews in Galilee while they were performing their sacrifices. that Jesus answered seven of them, suppose ye that these Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans because they suffered such things. I tell you nay, but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen upon whom the tower of so long fell, and slew them, thank ye that they were sinners above all men that dwell in Jerusalem, I tell you nay, but except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. So what he's saying is, sin and evil affects everyone. Even the innocent, Luke chapter 13, one through five. He said, no, it wasn't because they were sinners above all, but it fell on them because all are sinners. So sometimes the innocent get all caught up in the evil of society. And that's about, yeah, that's, go ahead. There's a good book, if you go to Christian research institutes, they have a book online, good thing. I got that in my library. Yeah, I read it. Yeah, it just doesn't, the only problem with that book, I read it. It is, like bad things happen to people because we live in an evil society. But when you deal with someone that just lost a child, there's nothing you can say to them. There's no answer for that. But he should use bad stuff for people. He brings about bad things, yes. Well, that's possible. That's true. But unfortunately, if you're going through a terrible tragedy in your life, if you're not a Christian, you'll just say why? But if you're a Christian, you'll say why Lord? You know, and that's the only thing that I can't answer. or if you're a new Christian and you're not grounded very well, take the blame guys. Oh yeah. So all these things happen, but the reason I'm pointing this out is if you ever have to counseled anyone, and you probably will, if you're a Christian sooner or later, I'm just trying to tell you that I don't have the answers. All I know is that Jesus came, this is the closest thing that Christ come to to give an answer for why bad things happen. Everybody is affected. The whole world is affected. God doesn't intervene unless there's a special reason for it. Otherwise, He won't intervene. Okay, let's go to the first prince in chapter 10, verse 13. I believe this is the verse that the dollar you're talking about. Took me a while to find it today. I actually know when you pay that during the first four, but I just wondered if that was. Well, yeah, this is it. This is what people use. This is the one you're talking about, I'm sure. There have no temptation taking you, but such as this common to man, but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that you are able. But will with the temptation also make the or a way to escape that you may be able to bear it. That's true. But if you're not a spiritual Christian, you can't bear it. That's true if you're spiritual. If you're not spiritual, if your faith is not well grounded in Christ, if you're not really trusting, a lot of people can escape it. You see that baseball player, the famous baseball player, he's a pitcher, and in some, he doesn't sound droid, so like, 18, 17 or something, and oldies, you see that, and he went, not, he was wealthy, and he left off the bank, and I'll say this, I guess there's not going to charge him, whatever, he just, he was so mad for me, I mean, he gets, he's the most angry guy. So he's the old, they have that, you know, the sport, the Brian Humble, you see that? I just wish I could die for him because I wish I had a big second and everything I could die in place. Yeah. It was just so out there. Yeah. You can't. Yeah. He's a lot of stress. How he felt? Really? Yeah. I mean, really, it's a difficult thing now. That would be hard, wouldn't it? Right in the left. Yeah. He was in bad shape. Yeah. That would be difficult. I think he's looking for it. Well, it'd be nice if somebody could hear that. I mean, I just never think somebody so emotionally who could detect their story about the problem and how they're coping and all that. Well, I got to tell you, I don't know if this is all right, but Ben's mind me telling about the letter from Gurma. Did you get it in a letter or an email? Ben's got an email from Gurma and Gurma's into this weird, weird doctrine that nobody is going to have. Everybody's going to heaven. And he goes through all kinds of verses to try to prove it. And I'll say what some of the sounds are irresistible. It isn't, but it sounds reasonable. It doesn't show any other kind of person. Yeah. But you know what I'm thinking? It won't be long that Germa is going to have a big following. You know how many people want to hear? You mean my good for nothing, Uncle Charlie, is in heaven today? You mean my brother, the Diabranos and Gremma's brother died, I guess. You mean he's in heaven today? You mean, and I'll tell you what, he is going to have a following pretty soon that you will not believe. He is? Oh he will. He will. The letter that he He wrote the dance, and I got the impression that this is a letter that he probably put out on the internet, right? Yeah. Well, this is pretty cool to grow. I was going to write that to a man in the front of my response, because he's a… I just figured that it's better if he is by that out of the zone. Yeah. But I'll tell you what, that's a Daniels' offering, but it… And he goes to great lengths to try to prove it. Nobody goes to hell and, of course, Ben's roading back and giving him some good scriptures. Well, he doesn't even mention that. He avoids just like every other false doctrine. He avoids the opposition. And that's why that one guy who has so many people, because everything is always good and happy. No worries, thank you. Well, he, uh, Gurma's message is definitely a feel-good message. But, uh, he uses verses like Christ died on the cross for the sins of the world. But then he ignores the next verse, who, however, believe it is not condemned, who, however, believe it is not as condemned already, ignores that one. But that's all you have to do if you're going to be a false prophet, is ignore the verses to continue your doctrine. Would he say to begin with or not? Or did he just give us a final thought? I don't know. I think he was too. Well, I thought he was. But then on the other hand, you couldn't already get the works righteousness out of him. You just couldn't hardly get it out of him. I remember when he was at my house, as a matter of fact, he stayed with us, or he didn't stay with us, but when he came up to business that time, he came over to house quite a lot. And when his lady friend stayed in a motel, and then when he went home, and I thought he was doing pretty good, but when he went home, he got into this couple of verses and he started reading and he said, called me up and he said, I've been wrestling with these scriptures. And I said, that's your problem, burning your, burning your wrestling with those scriptures. Don't wrestle with them. And I just said, Derma, get over it. That's what I told you. I said, get over it. You're either saved your loss. And if you're saved, you can't get lost. So I don't know where you comfortable with all this stuff. But he was looking for his self-righteousness. And he just couldn't get over that. But whatever. But Derma, you might want to Right down, James, chapter 1, verse 12 and 13, you can go along with that verse if you like. Cemptation, or being tried. And it also answers, by the way, might as well just turn over. We'll read a couple of verses. Now, I'll be done with this evening unless we have questions. I just want to talk about how Christ is going to do that. That's in Hebrews. I know what that is. That's in Hebrews. That's a good question. OK, anyway. We're all told to be blessed as a man, verse 12, that in your temptation, for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised us to them to love him, but no man say, when he is tempted, I am tempted of God. Before God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempted he any man. But every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and entice. So it isn't God that does the tempting, it's the world, which basically goes back to, yeah, which basically goes back what we've been talking about, of His low on lust and when He had, and when lust had conceived it bringeth forth sin and sin when it's finished bringeth forth death. But this concerns the Christian here and this is the death, the sin unto death, that's what he's talking about here. I believe it is, yes, physical death when it is finished, but that has nothing to do with the things that are going on in the world that I was talking about earlier. Yeah, Price was tempted. That's like in the behind of the family that you're on, that's partnership for that staff and knowledge law for a bunch of staff, much older. Which for a new type of nutrition, we understand that that's because the family presents in to that is the way that's been said. But for this guy, he seems like this is ridiculous, that in the everybody in the whole world should be dead. Yeah, in Hebrew chapter 4 verse 15 it says, Christ was tempted like as we are, yet without sin. As a matter of fact, when Christ was in the garden praying, he prayed three times. He said, Lord, let this cup pass from me. What was with God that He was talking about? And why would He say that? I think you're absolutely right because for all the time of eternity he was present with God the Father until he took up on that sin and he was separating from God you're after you are absolutely right. That's very good. That's very good. You didn't learn that from me. I believe it. I believe it. This true, though, is absolutely true. When he took upon him, Sam, it separated from God. And that's the cup. He was, he was, because it was really the couple of communion when he said cut he was talking about the cut of communion and he would lose all communion with God the Father for just just that incident when he took up all the sand yeah I was listening I got a lot of good things by chance and I was listening to and he was talking about He's got the cross and he's like, you don't know how it's through dating, it was up there because he said he said every single individual thing, past, present, future has been over one time. I mean, I know that, I mean, I generally like, you know, all the things in the world and everything. I'm like, do you think it is one individual thing that I've been paid for, I mean, that is, I mean, I never, I mean, it started to tell me that potentially it's like, and it pops it out, you know, okay? I have to be pretty excruciating. And then, you know, the fatherhoods are, you know, looked away and, you know. Well, that's all I had to see in the night. I didn't, I didn't prepare anymore because I didn't, I figured that would be sufficient for the scene. We finished Revelation last week and I really don't want to be in too much more concerning those guys who want to be ordained, who want to go through that. The only thing we can do between now and then is, and I don't know what I'm going to do exactly because Yankee Art will be here on the 18th of May. I really want to review that in May, but I'm not sure when we're going to do it for that time. I personally think you're ready. So I think we'll have a, I'm thinking about doing a little, we may just have between now and then just refreshing, we've refreshed yourself. Where's he from? He's, I don't know where he's from originally, but he lives in Georgia now because that's what he does. He's an evangelist. Max Yance called me and said he was going to be in this area and from the gimmick off, I wanted to speak and I said, yeah, I do because I figured the people in our church He could listen to somebody else besides me. He's probably in his 70s. The first time I heard about him was that when I first became a person when he asked for the answer to the governor. I heard him speak once in Heritage. He was pretty good. He did a message on Amalek. Yeah. And the message was, here comes Amalek. And it was pretty good. And I just want to let anybody speak in his church, but I just don't do that. Is it going to be here on the 18th and I presume morning and evening service? Good. He's going to be here on the 19th, that's his schedule and the 21st, which is Wednesday. So Wednesday service would be normal, but we'll have two services that we don't normally have the Monday evening and Sunday evening service and he's going to have a big camper so we'll park it out here probably and I'll prepare I'll have a breaker out there for him so yeah you need to listen to somebody else once for a while especially someone that has the same doctor that we do May 18 18 19 and be nice all the members of our church came out and supported him and And we'll, oh, well, I'm going to, we had the Sunday when the weather was real bad. We had a young boy visit us, his car was stuck here, he lives right here, and he'd take us to visit. He goes to church in North Madison. And so I took the occasion to do a little message on the word repent. I know that's a devious yeah he yeah he enjoyed it actually yeah didn't seem like he opposed it whatever nice kit okay let's have a great word of parable close in if you don't mind dear Lord we thank you for your word we thank you for the just the ability to serve you and dear Lord I personally that you bless Christian Bible Church, all of our members, and dear Lord, I'd ask that you just remember us for the good, as Nehemiah said, and forget the evil. Just remember us for the good, and all the things that we try to do to serve you, the people we tell how to be saved, the way we teach you word, who just as opposed to remember us, Christian Bible Church for the good. Well, thank you for it in Christ's name. Amen. And that's what I need. Remember me for the good luck.
