All right, okay, take your bibles this morning if you will the book of Revelation Our continued study on the book of Revelation We haven't gotten very far in the past couple months. I don't know what the problem is We'll blind somebody The book of Revelation the book of Revelation is easy to understand It's extremely easy to understand. Turn to Revelation 1, verse 19, we have the foundation for the book of Revelation and the outline. The outline on verse 19 says, chapter 1, the things which has been, the past, the things which are, the present, and the things which shall be hereafter, the future. The book of Revelation is divided into three parts, the past, the present, and the future. Revelation chapter 1 represents the past. Revelation chapter 2 and 3 represent the present church age. And you'll notice that there are seven churches mentioned, which represent seven types of churches that we have in the world today, seven periods of church history, and seven literal churches. chapter 4 is future, from the rest of the book is future. In Revelation chapter 4 and 5 we have a picture of the church in heaven. The rapture takes place in chapter 4 verses 1 and 2. And then we have a picture of the church in heaven. We have a picture of the Lord Jesus Christ ready to open the seventh sealed scroll, which opens up to seven seals upon the earth during the seven-year tribulation. The seven seals are the plagues that mankind has asked for, and they're going to get it. The seven plagues that they're asked for, the seven seals, they have a glorious scene in heaven in chapter 5, verse 5, and notice if you will. And one of the elders said unto me, We have not behold the lion that is Jesus Christ of the tribe of Judah. The root of David had prevailed to open a book and look at seven seals. And I beheld and low in the midst of the throne in the four beast creatures in the midst of the elders stood a lamb, the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the lion and the lamb. as though it had been seen having seven horns and seven eyes which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. Let me ask you a question. What do the seven horns represent? Our thank you very good. The Lord Jesus Christ doesn't have literally seven horns, it's just symbolic. You cannot picture the Lord Jesus Christ with seven horns and seven eyes in his head. That's really kind of foolish, isn't it? It simply represents the Lord Jesus Christ and His authority and power. And the reason it does that is this, and I'm going to show it to you. I want you to notice, and we're going to, we've already touched on this a couple of weeks ago, when Noah and his sons got off the ark, God said, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. In other words, spread out and replenish and occupy, populate the earth. And the long came Nimrod and he gathered everybody together at a place called Babel in ancient Assyria and he said, let's build us a tower and we'll call it Babel which means gate to God. And it'll be called a one-world government, a one-world socialist government and a one-world socialist religion. The word Nimrod means a mighty warrior against God. And so was the beginning of the entire world as we know it. The first major nation to come along in rule the world was Assyria, right there. And then the next major country to come along, the next ruling empire was Egypt. That's two, right? And then the long came Babylon. Now remember when Babylon took Israel captive in 602 BC between 602 and 585 BC, the times of the Gentiles began. You've heard of that right? The times of the Gentile. Let me see. Anyway, and so we have Egypt, Assyria, Egypt, Babylon, and then along came Mito Persia, under Cyrus and Darius, the Medis and the Persians. They conquered Babylon. It was prophesied in the book of Daniel. We could go there and show you that. We we don't do it. Then along came Greece under Alexander the Great and then finally came the mighty nation of Rome. Since that time there has been no one nation to rule the world. Why not? Because God said so. He's in charge. He's the boss. Is he not? Jesus Christ is the boss. And so we have One, two, three, four, five, six, and then during the tribulation there will be one more major ruler called the Antichrist. That's seven, right? A horn in the Bible usually represents a king or a power or authority. Jesus Christ has the seven horns, which means. He has put Satan in charge of the world. He's called the Prince of this world, but in reality, Jesus Christ is the real horn. He's the real ruler. He's the real king. All of these kingdoms are just set up. but God, Jesus Christ is the real king. Now let me prove that and then we'll get back to Revelation. Hold your place here in Revelation and I want you to go to the book of Daniel chapter 4 all the way back in the Old Testament. Daniel chapter 4. Daniel chapter 4, by the way, are the words of Nebuchadnezzar. Nebuchadnezzar was a saved, born-again Christian. Now when he took Israel captive, he wasn't a saved, born-again Christian. But somewhere along the line, Nebuchadnezzar got saved. And when he did, God recorded his words in the Bible. So notice if you will. Nebuchadnezzar said, in verse 1, Nebuchadnezzar, the king unto all people, nations and languages that dwell in all the earth, peace, be multiplied unto you. Nebuchadnezzar, well the Christian wasn't he? And then I want you to notice that a lot of things took place. Nebuchadnezzar was going to be cast out of his kingdom and live out in a field for seven years. Well, he didn't believe that, but notice, if you will, when Daniel interpreted his vision, and I'm not going to go through the whole thing, I don't have time for that, but notice in verse 17, what Daniel, what it says here, verse 17, this matter is by the decree of the watchers and the demand, by the word of the holy ones, to the intent that the living may know that the most high rule of the kingdom of man. And give it to whomever he will and set it up over it the basis of man. God is in charge, isn't he? You see now if you can these are thought of all I'm the king, I've done this, I've done that and I built this great city. He came to realize that it wasn't true. And then he wrote it down, recorded in the Bible. And notice verse, if you will, verse 25, we have the same thing repeated when Daniel interprets the vision for Nebuchadnezzar, notice verse 25, that they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beast of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass like oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know, seven times, seven years, till thou know that the most high rule of the kingdom of men, and giveeth it to whomesoever he will. And so Jesus Christ has the seven horns, which represent the fact that he is the one true king of this entire world. Back to Revelation, if you will, we haven't gotten very far in the book of Revelation, whatever. I think when we're through we will all have a better understanding, won't we? Of what Revelation is all about. Revelation chapter 6 verses 1 and 2 we see a white horse. That is the attack price. Comes into the world. Enders into the world. Doesn't literally ride a white horse. Be kind of stupid to think so, wouldn't it? It's just symbolic of his personality. He comes entering a white horse promising peace. He will be accepted by the nation of Israel as their Messiah, Daniel chapter 9, verses 24 to 27. They will accept him as their Messiah, first Samuel chapter 8, as the king that they requested. Well here's our Messiah. We finally got him. The Antichrist. Of course you and I won't be here. We'll be taken into rapture. No sooner does he promise peace to the nation of Israel than he rides a red horse. Notice verse 4, chapter 6, verse 4 in Revelation. And there went out another horse that was red, and power was given to him that sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another. And there was given unto him a great sword. The seven-year tribulation will not be fine, will it? Now, if you will go to the book of Ezekiel, we want to cover a few things here. And then next week, maybe we'll be able to get on to the next seal in the book of Revelation. But we need to have an understanding of Ezekiel, chapter 38 and 39, just briefly. We already covered this a couple of weeks ago, but we need to do some of this one more time. Verse 38 is equal, Chapter 38 verse 1, in the word of the Lord came unto me saying, Son of man, set thy face against God of the land of Megag, the chief prince of Mishek, and tubo and prophesy against him. Look up here for just a minute if you will. Each one of these kingdoms was founded on the ideology of Nimra, which is a one-world socialist government and a one-world socialist religion against God, we call it the anti-Christ ideology. Each one of these following kingdoms was founded on exactly the same ideology. It's the ideology of Meghal today. Meghal is Russia. Russia's ideology is a one-world government and a one-world religion in its anti-Christ ideology. Russia wants to take away all freedoms. Do you know that all the many people today that call themselves socialists or most of them won't admit it? Socialism is communism and communism is Antichrist and its Megog in the Bible. Gog is the chief prince at Satan. Satan is the chief prince of Megog, Russia. It's an Antichrist ideology. Then we have, remember, Rome was the last great nation to rule the world. ideology of Rome exists today but it's under the surface. You see we live in a church age. We put it in a circle because or in a valley because the Old Testament saints could not see the church age. You won't find it in the gospels or in the Old Testament only hints but Rome the ideology of the one One world government and the one world religious system still exists today only it's being suppressed. Someday at the rapture of the church it will be revived. It will be revived. It's the ideology of Gog, Megog, Misek, Tobil, and all the others. Let's read on down if you will before you run out of time. And I will turn to, and say, that's said, the Lord God behold, I am against the old God. The chief prince of Meshekin, Tubal, and I will turn thee back and put hopes into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth in all thine army, horses, and so forth, and so forth. Then he has a list of the people that follow Meghal. Persia, Ethiopia, Libya, Gomer, Tegarma, Gomer's probably Germany, Tegarma is probably Turkey. Persia is Persia, the present day Iraq and Iran. Ethiopia, Kush, Libya, Libya, all these countries are going to come against the nation of Israel just after the Rapture of the Church. When the Antichrist promises peace and then the Red Horse, there's going to be war, by the way, it will not be the Antichrist that attacks Jerusalem. He's their Messiah, right? It doesn't say the Antichrist, but it says Gog Satan, who was the head of the Antichrist, runs these armies against Israel. Now, let's read on down, if you will. Verse 8. Look at the very last part of verse 8. He's going to come against Israel with all its company, Togorma, Turkey, Gomer, which is probably Poland or Germany. And notice the word chief, the word chief is a noun, is a noun, and it's a word rosh, and it's equals the sun of. Just to point that out. And they shall dwell safely all of them in the very last half of verse 8. Look in verse 11, the very last half of verse 11. Israel, talking about Israel, who are at rest, who dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls having neither bars nor gates. Verse 14. Therefore, Son of Man prophesy and say unto Gog, the chief prince, thus said the Lord God in that day when my people of Israel dwell safely, shout thou know it. Shout thou know it, you better believe it. Because he's the one who established the peace. Good old Satan, the devil, who influences the anti-crust. Basically he is the anti-crust. He promised him peace, they dwell safely, and then he sends his army against it. Do you know Satan has been trying to destroy Israel ever since it began? And actually he started with Eve because Satan knew that Eve would be the mother of the nation of Israel. He knew that. And that's why he said, Jay, have God said, why don't you go ahead and eat fruit, won't hurt a darn thing? You know? And so she said, yes, it will and God said not to eat it and he also said not to touch it. That's a lie. Eve, he did not say that. Isn't religious humanity something? Do you believe in Lord Jesus Christ? Yes, I do. not that easy. I believe he died on the cross to pay for my sin but it's not that easy. That's what man says just like Eve. There's more to it than that. Don't you don't tell me old Satan, I'm smarter than you. There's more to it than that. You can't just believe Christ died on the cross for you and you have forgiveness of sin. It's not that easy. You've got to believe with your heart. Isn't that a good one? How many of you have two belief systems? Anybody here have two belief systems. I believe Jesus Christ died on the cross for me and I believe it up here with my head. I only have one belief system. Let's read on down. Verse 16. In the latter days, the last part, I will bring the against my land that the heathen may know me when I shall be sanctified in the old god before their eyes. Do you know why they attacked Israel? Because God brought them. How do We know this takes place. We're going to have to close here shortly. How do we know this takes place at the beginning of the seven-year Tribulation? How do we know that? Well, God answers that question for us here. In verse in chapter 39, by the way, let me point something else out here before I go any further before I forget. I want you to notice something, if you will, in chapter 39, verse 2, and I will turn the back and leave but the sixth part of thee and will cause thee to come up from the north parts and bring thee upon the mountains of Israel. And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand and will cause the word sixth part is actually the Hebrew word which means total annihilation. They won't get out of alive. Total and all annihilation. God will annihilate them. The anti-Christ will take credit for it. But notice in verse 9, if you will, before we're out of time here, and they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the hand-staved handspikes, and they shall burn them with fire seven years. Seven years, they shall burn them with fire. Doesn't sound like the thousand-year reign of Christ to me, doesn't it? Seven years. Verse 12, and seven months shall the house of Israel be burying them that they may cleanse the land. So we know that it takes place at the beginning of the seven-year tribulation. Yay, all the people of the land shall bury them, and it shall be to the renown on the day that I shall be glorified, say it, the Lord God. Well, I think I'm out of time. I was going to read some more about that. We don't have time. Anyway, all of this prediction that God had all the way back in the Old Testament will come to pass will definitely come to pass and so many more. But next time we get on the one of the seals, we're going to point out some things that our world is doing today. And when God opens one of His seals or all of His seals, you will see that the things that take place during the seven-year tribulation is exactly what mankind has asked for. It's It's going to get pretty hot during the 7-year tribulation. And do you know that we have people running around the day saying that you and I have created something called global warming? That's a lie. But during the 7-year tribulation, the Lord is going to say, well, you asked for it. You got it. But thank God I won't be here, will you? Nope. I won't be here. Let me show you why. My Bible says that I'm a sinner. I don't know. I'm a sinner. I have sinned. I'm going to go home and I'll probably sin today. I'm not going to try, but I will. I know I'll follow up somewhere. But I want to have eternal life. You know what God said? You got to pay for your sin from 623. The wages of sin is death. For you can believe the account I gave of my son Jesus Christ, for God so loved the world that's me, that he gave his only begotten son Jesus Christ, gave him on the cross. That whosoever believed in him, that's me shall never perish but have everlasting life. No God said he died on the cross, was buried and rose again, and all I have to do is believe that. And he takes my sin and marked it paid. Isn't that the deal? Sounds good to me. And you know, when the AI Christ comes riding on its white horse, you know where I'm going to be? I've been having them looking down. That's where I'm going to be. And if you want to be up there looking down, maybe you ought to put your faith in trust in Christ if you've never done it. Be a good time to do that, wouldn't it? Christ died on the cross with Barry and Rosygill. All you have to do is believe it, but he takes your sin and puts it to his account. Pretty good deal. Let's have a word of prayer and we won't close. Dear Lord, we thank You for Christ, died on the cross, paid for our sin. And we thank You, Lord, for everything You recorded in the Bible that gives us hope and gives us things to look forward to. Reveals Your Word. We know what's gonna take place in the future someday. We don't know when, but we do know what? and we just thank the Ford and Jesus name. Amen. All right, let me see you here.
